Placebo es un grupo musical de rock alternativo formado en 1994 en Londres, Inglaterra. Está compuesto por Brian Molko y Stefan Olsdal, y tras el abandono del batería Steve Hewitt el 1 de octubre de 2007, por Steve Forrest. La banda alcanzó un considerable éxito desde sudebut discográfico en 1996, vendiendo más de un millón de copias de sus discos en el Reino Unido y sobre ocho millones en todo el mundo.
